Aleksandra and Grzegorz are a fun couple, and when we talked their wedding, they did not want cliche, posed photographs, but candid photographs during the ceremony and something joyful and crazy for their wedding session. Therefore I dressed them in leathers and hats and shoot them at the graffiti background. Aleksandra also always dreamed about a beach wedding, and although Aberdeen’s weather is not exactly suited for it, we went down the Beach Esplanade to take a few shoots she could stick to her weeding album. We had so much laugh making funny faces and jumping around! All the best you two!
In the era of affordable digital cameras, smartphones and what not professional photography services are often forgotten and used pretty much only around weddings and engagement sessions. However when you have a little lively child like Amber who runs from one place to another within nanoseconds, your photos are showing only some blurred action. Thus Amber’s mum, Sylvia, desperate to have some souvenirs of her daughter in her fun age, decided to call me up and arrange for a mini session for Amber’s second birthday.
Amber was sure a challenge, and all three of us (Amber’s parents and I) had dizzy heads from constant spinning and were breathless from running, but it was sure worth it! The session resulted in many beautiful photos, and I had a dilemma in choosing the cutest for editing and posting!
Well, the title says its all. Or almost all. The Fashion Show had a place on 17 July 2014 at Seventeen on Belmont Street, Aberdeen, and it was a huge success. Although it was mainly for family and friends, I am sure that Aymee Charlton, who is a RUG Gray’s School of Art graduate, would be more than happy to invite you to her workshop.
Recently I talked about some technical glitches I had with my blog; well, it seems this is a more global issue and had nothing to do with my IT skills. Wordpress can’t manage, but I will not let that to put me off blogging any longer. Hence today’s post:)
Last week I had a chance to work with a fashion blogger, Angelika eM. Angelika was looking for a photographer, who could capture her creations. We went out on a freezing but sunny afternoon to Seaton Park in Aberdeen. Thanks to the sun I was able to capture some mesmerizing sun flare on some of the photos; later overcast helped with beautiful portraits without harsh shadows. Although I could not feel my fingers afterwards, it was totally worth it. Check it out!
